*Now accepting new clients*
My vision for counseling is to see people and families walk through life’s struggles with the help of others and hope for the future.  I would like to join you in this journey towards hope.  We are all shaped by the relationships we form and our unique life experiences. The way we respond to those encounters tells us something about who we are.  If you need a hand in processing your current struggles and finding hope again, I am here.  Together we can bear the burden, validate your needs and create room to just be.  If you desire to restore connection with others, bring meaning to your experiences or explore your unique identity, I would like to help you take the next steps.
I offer a strengths-based approach when working with individuals, couples and families. My primary areas of focus are marital and pre-marital therapy, family counseling, anxiety, depression, grief, spirituality, parenting, postpartum difficulties and women’s issues. I enjoy integrating faith in therapy upon client request.  I have hope for all people and families because of my faith in Christ.
I am a graduate of Baylor University where I majored in Child and Family Studies. Upon graduation, I attended Dallas Seminary and worked as a children’s director while completing my Master’s in Christian Education.  I then transitioned to community mental health and counseled families in crisis through a partnership with juvenile justice. This led me to complete a Master’s in Christian Counseling from Gordon-Conwell Seminary.  I have counseled in many settings including private practice, in-home, school, court, residential substance abuse treatment, intensive outpatient for eating disorders as well as the local church.  I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy – Associate #202846 (supervised by Heather Resneder, MA, LMFT-Supervisor #201170).
I am married to Will and we reside in Allen, Texas with our two young kiddos and a crazy black lab, Hank.
